LSHBC Hosted it's First Boxing Show on October 22, 2011

On Saturday, October 22nd, LSHBC hosted their first show in their new home gym.  There were 12 action-packed bouts between local and out-of-town fighters.  Up and coming 'USA Olympic 2012 Female Boxing Team' hopeful, Marlen Esparza, fought a special fist-to-fist, heart-driven bout, with an unanimous win. The turnout was 200+, and was at one point, 'standing room only'.  Thank you everyone for your support and sponsorship!

Boxing Expo - July 24

On Saturday, July 24th, LSHBC held it's second boxing expo.  Children and teens from LSHBC and other local boxing gyms exhibited their boxing talent and skills in the ring for an action-packed showcase.  Live entertainment was provided, and raffles were held, with one lucky winner going home with a MAC desktop computer!  There were also several one-week memberships given away!  Thank you to all who participated with preparation and working the event, as well as, cleaning, serving food, selling tickets, taking photos and videos, cooking, etc.!  It was a huge success and we will do it again soon! 

2011 US Senior Open Tournament - Hosted by USA Boxing, Undefeated Magazine, and LSHBC - January 8, 9, & 10

This year LSHBC was asked to host the 2011 US Senior Open Tournament for amateur fighters, ages 17-34.  LSHBC Owner and Coach, David Donis, donated his facility for the three-day event.  With the help of volunteers from USA Boxing, Undefeated Magazine, and members of LSHBC, the event was a success.  Winners of the tournament advanced their way to State Finals for their chance to compete in the Olympics!
